Lots of problems with a shipment to West Africa. But in the end
they prevented me from being duped and experiencing fraud by
an imposter of a General in the Army. they told me the person
I was dealing with was an imposter so they did their job. It took
too long to resolve the problem but THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL
OVERALL in the END an stopped a package I was sending to
an imposter of the Army General.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could, they do not deserve the 1 star rating they currently have!!
My second time dealing with them and both times the, driver apparently couldn't find my address and said that I wasn't home. I am guessing these drivers are too lazy to even leave their trucks and ring my doorbell because I have had a "delivery attempted" notice left online about 6 times already, meanwhile I was home waiting for the package I needed urgently and nobody showed up.
When you call the customer service representatives the only option they can give you is to try to redeliver the package on the next business day again or for you to come pick up the package at a location that is 30 minutes away.
I have dealt with DHL service in Europe before and this DHL Elizabeth place needs to get SHUT DOWN, this is disgraceful! -

God awful to say the least. I ordered a package from California and got an email confirming my order with a tracking number. On the day it was supposed to arrive I was on vacation and had my cousin go to my house- nothing was there. I check online again and it said undeliverable as addressed? So I call and ask what the problem is. They said my address was 4233 instead of 423- but I got an email confirming my correct information- they said they'd changed the address and if the package was still in their hands they'd deliver. Then when I called back they said that the package was sent pack to UPS? When I called UPS is was delivered back to the business and I never got it, EVER. I had to call my back and file a dispute to get my money back. NEVER AGAIN.

Absolutely terrible. I paid for two day shipping to arrive on a Friday. It was a no signature required package and I live in a secure building in a good neighborhood. At 2:30 on Friday I received a text message stating that the driver attempted to deliver my package but I wasn't home. I immediately called DHL customer service and spoke with a supervisor who agreed with me that the package should have been left and put a message to the courier to re-deliver the package that day. The driver never responded, until 640 pm when the supervisor from the DHL call center spoke to the manager at this Elizabeth location and they notified me he wouldn't deliver today and would come Monday. The supervisor specifically left notice to leave the package without signature (even though there's no signature required anyways). Now it's Monday and yet AGAIN the driver did not leave my package and the Elizabeth location is not answering the phone and the driver is not attempted redelivery despite management of DHL requesting redelivery again.
NEVER use DHL!!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars!!!! -

I had a package overnighted and requested to be held for pickup the Friday before a holiday. The package was never held at the facility, but instead scheduled for delivery. After waiting a few hours with no update, I called customer service to find out more information. I was told to call back in 30-40min to ensure the package had arrived back to the facility so that I could pick it up the same day. I called customer service back an hour later only to find out that the previous representative placed an alert for my package to be returned BUT that I wouldn't be able to pick it up the same day (the package needed to be reprocessed). After expressing my frustrations and being placed on hold the second representative informed me my package actually never left the facility and that if I can make it there before closing, I'd be able to pick up the package no problem. I drove through traffic to get to the facility only to find out my package was indeed with the courier and that I wouldn't be able to get my package until Tuesday since the alert to bring it back to the facility couldn't be canceled.
